Here at the office of Dr. John L. Prather, we are dedicated to the highest quality of patient care in and around the West Chester, Middletown and Portsmouth areas. Dr. John Prather is an exceptionally trained, board-certified surgeon who, along with his staff, has provided compassionate care with over 20 years of surgical experience.
Our patients range from adolescence to the elderly. Dr. Prather specializes in placement of Dental implants and the bone grafting necessary for their success. He also treats a wide range of oral and facial conditions from nonrestorable, missing and impacted teeth to bony and soft tissue pathology of the skeletol structure. He excels in his ability to correct misalignment of the jaw such as overbites or under bites.
Dr. Prather is a board-certified surgeon who graduated from an accredited dental schools, is licensed in the state of Ohio and completed a four-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program approved by the American Dental Association’s Commission on Dental Accreditation. During his oral and maxillofacial surgery residencies, he received graduate training in other disciplines such as general surgery, plastic surgery, medicine, anesthesia and pathology. In addition, he trained to treat patients in the hospital and outpatient surgery settings as well as his state-of-the art offices.
